The 2004 Faith and Form Religious Architecture Award
Rodelf Shalom Congregation - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
"This is a respectful addition and extension of an historic language of forms. This building is a remarkable transformation of a previously forgettable exterior elevation. It makes every inch count on a tight site. It exhibits a very high degree of craftsmanship and fine detailing, translating forms of the original building into new additions. The result helps to hide a very bland facade, and gives the new building an historic reference back to the original. It also makes the arrival by car as important as that by foot." - Faith and Form Journal on Religion, Art and Architecture Download PDF Article
